OuR vision
To become a premier basketball organisation in Greater Springfield, offering pathways for athletes, coaches, and officials to reach their full potential. We aim to establish teams across all junior age groups for boys and girls, as well as Men’s and Women’s teams, with the goal of competing in the NBL1.
Our ultimate dream is to build our own Pioneers Stadium, a space that will nurture talent, promote community, and serve as a home for the Pioneers for years to come.

At the Greater Springfield PIONEERS Basketball we offer an exceptional pathway for athletes committed to taking their basketball journey to the next level. Our Representative Program is designed for players who are passionate about developing their skills, competing at the highest levels, and representing our family with pride.
The journey begins at the grassroots level, where young athletes compete in the South Queensland Junior Basketball Competition (SQJBC). We field teams in the following age groups:

For these teams, the State Championships are the pinnacle of competition, bringing together teams from across Central and North Queensland to compete for the coveted title of State Champion.
